ICYD is open to all students in Year 10 and below (English/Welsh School years). In countries operating under a different system, it will be open to all students who will be aged 15 and below on August 31st 2026. To maintain an even playing field, these rules will be strictly enforced. Students ineligible for ICYD can compete at Oxford Schools and Cambridge Schools, which are both open to school students of any age.
